So basically, Oslo is amazing. We loved every minute of our Norwegian #tweedlesontour adventure.
Oslo’s list of accolades sums up our experience nicely;
◊ Most liveable city
◊ Most useless but friendly tour guide ever…bless him
◊ Friendliest people
◊ Most delicious cheese
◊ Fantastic food markets
◊ Best coffee culture – come on London, up your game!
◊ Best looking men….everywhere you look
◊ Coolest, casual style – male, female, young, old – everyone was just so cool
◊ Most beautiful harbour – second to Auckland’s of course
◊ The freshest, clearest air
◊ Brightest blue and green hues
◊ Most stunning scenery out on the ferry around the islands off the harbour – highly recommend this!
◊ Coolest fortress area
◊ Best restaurant setting – right on the harbour! Hello Auckland viaduct
◊ Fantastic shopping – goodbye bank account, hello winter wardrobe!
I could not recommend Oslo more highly, it was the best weekend away. We loved it for what it was, but also for what it reminded us of. It’s a lot like New Zealand, we decided it was a mixture of Auckland and the Marlborough Sounds. The modernity, cleanliness, friendliness and natural beauty might be a long way from home in km’s but in reality, it felt extremely close.
Thank you Oslo – we love you!
